This medium-strength thread sealant is ideal for locking and sealing metal threaded pipes and fittings up to 0.75mm (3") in diameter. It’s designed for use in the nuclear industry on sensitive metals such as titanium.
If you need a thread sealant for sensitive metals, try LOCTITE® 5772. Designed for the locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fittings, it has a low halogen and sulfur content, and is specially developed for use on sensitive metals, e.g. titanium, used in the nuclear industry. It’s also perfect for use on stainless steel without the need for surface activation. Its thixotropic nature means you can rely on reduced product migration after application.
