Medium-strength, slow-curing retaining compound whose lubricating properties facilitate the assembly of cylindrical parts that involve heavy interference fits or threaded components that require high assembly torque.
When working with heavy interference or high torque values, you need LOCTITE® 232. This brown, medium-strength, medium-viscosity retaining compound prevents galling and pick-up during disassembly and eliminates corrosion within the joints, while increasing dismounting forces. It provides medium shear strength with maximum load transmission capability and uniform stress distribution.
