This high-strength, thixotropic, anaerobic-curing threadlocking adhesive locks and seals threaded fasteners.
LOCTITE® 262 is a red, general-purpose, high strength, anaerobic-curing threadlocking adhesive which prevents threaded fasteners from loosening due to heavy shock and vibration. Ideal for applications where migration of the adhesive must be prevented. It fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control.
