LOCTITE® 222

Features and Benefits

Low-strength threadlocker for the locking and sealing of small fasteners under 6.35 mm (1/4") in diameter. Prevents loosening from shock and vibration, removable with hand tools.
If you’re working with small diameter screws made of low strength metals (e.g., aluminum or brass), try LOCTITE® 222. It is ideal for low-strength threadlocking of adjustment screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws; on collars, pulleys, tool holders and controllers. It works on most metals without primer, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It also cures through light coatings of corrosion prevention oils without having to clean the parts.
  • Ideal for low-strength threadlocking of adjusting screws, countersunk head screws and set screws
  • Prevents loosening on vibrating assemblies, e.g. pumps, gear boxes or presses
  • Ideal for small thread sizes up to 6.35 mm (1/4")
  • Permits disassembly with hand tools
