This grey, 2-part, trowelable, carbide-filled, epoxy-based wear protection coating protects equipment from fine particle abrasion.
LOCTITE® PC 7226 Fine Particle Wearing Compound is a 2-part system designed to provide processing equipment with a protective surface coating against fine particle abrasion (with or without chemical attack) on a wide range of applications. It can be used overhead or on vertical surfaces, and is suitable for use in service temperatures ranging from -30°C to 120°C (-22°F to 248°F). Typical applications include chutes, ducts, elbows, transitions, pumps, fans, hoppers and cyclones.
