A 1-part, medium-strength paste thread sealant for demanding industrial applications. Ideal for sealing threaded metal joints in steam piping systems where high temperature and high pressure resistance is required.
When you need high temperature and pressure resistance, especially for a steam piping system, LOCTITE® 5770 is a great choice. This medium-strength, high-viscosity thread sealant paste locks and seals metal threaded pipes and fittings in industrial steam applications up to 280°C (536°F) and 930 psi (6.4 MPa).
