This tough, flexible, 2-part adhesive is specially formulated for oil-based applications, and has excellent resistance to hydraulic fluids, fuels and chemicals.
LOCTITE® EA 9430 is a 2-part, modified epoxy adhesive that forms bonds resistant to water, salt spray, and many common industrial fluids. At room temperature it reaches full cure in one week, allowing time for readjustments, and cure can be accelerated with heat. Due to this long open time, it can also be used for large potting applications, e.g. in gas separation filters. And its tough, flexible nature makes it ideal for bonding dissimilar substrates, and for assemblies requiring bondline thickness up to 5 mm (1/10"). You can expect very high peel strength, excellent shear strength, high temperature stability, and low shrinkage rates.
