1. General Terms and Conditions of Using the »LOCTITE LOYALTY” App
The »LOCTITE LOYALTY” mobile app (hereinafter referred to as the Mobile app) and the website www.Local LoyApp web page (hereinafter referred to as the website) are owned by the company HENKEL. The Mobile app for Android 1.0 and iOS 1.0 helps users find the latest benefits and closest »LOCTITE LOYALTY” locations in Europe. Users can download the »LOCTITE LOYALTY” app from mobile app stores under the terms set by these stores. The mobile app can be used by everyone with a suitable communication device (a smart phone or tablet with an appropriate operating system) that supports WiFi or GSM/3G/4G. The mobile app shall be available for use as of 1st March 2025.
The entire content of the Mobile app is protected by intellectual property rights owned by the owner of the Mobile app and the website.
2. Disclaimer
All data and materials published in the Mobile app are provided for information purposes only, unless expressly specified otherwise. The Mobile app owner shall in good faith and to the best of its ability do everything necessary for the optimal functioning of the Mobile app, it however does not accept any liability or give any warranties on its uninterrupted operation. All the users shall use the Mobile app at their own risk. Neither the owner of the Mobile app, nor any other natural or legal person who was involved in the development, creation and making of the » LOCTITE LOYALTY” Mobile app and website, or is still involved in creating upgrades, new information and materials, accept any liability for any damage that might result from or in connection to accessing, using or the inability to use the information or materials from the Mobile app and website, or any errors or mistakes in their content.
The owner of the Mobile app and website also disclaims any liability for any damage on computer equipment (including damage caused by computer viruses), mobile phones or any other device used for accessing the Mobile app and website, which might result from using the Mobile app or website. The owner of the Mobile app and website also disclaims any liability for any damage that might result from using or inability to use the Mobile app or website.
The owner of the Mobile app and website will strive to provide correct, up-to-date and complete information in the Mobile app and on the website, it however disclaims any liability in relation to it. The owner of the Mobile app and website reserves the right to change the legal notice at any time without prior notice, and disclaims any liability for the consequences of such changes.
For the reasons set above, we recommend you regularly check this legal notice to make sure you are familiar with all the changes to prevent any problems that might arise from using our Mobile app, website or their content.
3. Prices
The Mobile app is free to download, however the user must pay for data transfer charged by the operator, with which the user has concluded a subscriber or other agreement.
4. Use
In the event of unauthorized use or any abuse of the Mobile app or website, we have the right to take all measures necessary to protect our rights and interests, and right and interests of other consumers. By downloading the Mobile app, the user agrees to and accepts the general terms and conditions. HENKEL reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions. All changes will be published on the website
Henkel or its agent has the right to request receipts for provided services, based on which the user is claiming a benefit, from the person redeeming loyalty points i.e. using the Mobile app.
5. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data
By downloading and using the Mobile app, the user grants Henkel the right to process all the received data on the Mobile app user and data collected through individual actions (prize draws, purchases, loyalty points, etc.) as the controller of the database of Mobile app in accordance with applicable regulation on personal data protection. The personal data provided by the user when downloading the Mobile app and data collected through the use of the Mobile app will be used for the purpose of providing the services of the Mobile app.
The owner of the Mobile app undertakes to protect, process and store the personal data, obtained upon user’s visit and download of the Mobile app, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, and shall not disclose them to third parties without the user’s permission, except in cases specified below.
Henkel may involve its external partners for the fulfilment of the services provided by the Mobile App and for other operational data management (e.g., customer service, database management).
The following data may be collected through the registration form:
- username
- postal address, email, phone number
- User’s country
- Employer's data
- Size of clothes
In addition to the data provided by the user filling out the form, the following personal data is also being collected:
- number of points, loyalty points, data on redeeming of points
- date and place of scanning the QR (bar) code;
- information on individual purchases;
- data relating the user's account
- computer’s (phone’s) IP address;
- date, location and time of visiting the Mobile app or website;
- the name and URL of the visited file;
- message whether the transaction (scanning the QR code, redeeming points) was successful;
- identifier of the used browser or system;
- (mobile) website, from which the app was accessed;
- the name of your internet/mobile provider;
The data collected upon user’s visit to the website is in the form of a data file is stored temporarily until its automatic deletion.
These data are processed with the purpose of providing on the one hand the benefits of Mobile app, and on the other hand to provide the best possible user experience (establishing the connection), system security, and technical administration of the mobile/online infrastructure, as well as of optimizing the Mobile app and website.
Data on purchases are collected to personalize the content of the Mobile app, and to record user’s benefits.
When filling out the registration form, the Mobile app user may allow the processing of their personal data for other purposes, not necessary for providing the Mobile app services, and may revoke or change such permission at any time (see below). This processing activity is based on the analyis of your use of (1) our newsletter and other e-mail advertisements, (2) our Mobile app.
Other purposes of personal data processing:
a. YES/NO Sending personalized offers in the Mobile app
The user may allow to receive personalized offers including product offers in the Mobile app. Such data may be processed until the user revokes their permission or until they delete their personal account in the Mobile app.
b. YES/NO Newsletters
The user may allow to receive the personalized newsletter and other e-mail advertisements from Henkel. Such data may be processed until the user revokes their permission or until they delete their personal account in the Mobile app.
c. YES/NO Remarketing in Facebook and LinkedIn
The user may want to have advertisements regarding Henkel adhesives shown on Facebook and LinkedIn to be personalized. The user's e-mail address and/or user ID will be transferred to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland for this purpose. Such data may be processed until the user revokes their permission or until they delete their personal account in the Mobile app.
d. YES/NO Remarketing in third party websites and apps
The user may want to have product offers, digital content and services of Henkel also on third party websites and apps to be personalized. The user's e-mail address and/or user ID will be transferred to marketing and advertising partners for this purpose. Such data may be processed until the user revokes their permission or until they delete their personal account in the Mobile app.
Your rights in relation to data processing
If the data processing activity relating to the Mobile app is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
You can contact us at any time with any requests or questions about the processing of your data. You may also exercise your right of access to your data at any time.
You may also exercise the rights listed below, provided that the respective conditions are met:
- Right to rectification
- Right to rectification or rectification of inaccuracies or omissions
- Right to the right to object to the processing of personal data;
- The right to object to processing as described below; and
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or you may enforce your rights before the Court of Justice if your rights are infringed.
- Right to object
You, as data subject are entitled to object against data processing made by Henkel on the bases of its legitimate interest at any time. In such case the respective data processing will be immediately stopped by Henkel unless Henkel proves that the data processing was necessary due to legitimate reasons which override the data subject’s interests, rights and freedoms, or related to establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Individual’s personal data shall be provided voluntarily. If an individual does not want to provide information marked as mandatory in the registration form or form for redeeming prizes, they cannot use the Mobile app or cannot receive the benefits offered by the application.
Retention period
Your personal data on Mobile app is processed until these users revoke their permissions or until they delete their personal account in the Mobile app. Data on purchases intended for tracking user’s buying behavior may be retained for a period of 3 years from the purchase. After 3 years, the data shall be deleted or appropriately anonymized and processed for the purpose of statistical analysis.
Users may at any time revoke their permission that is not necessary for the basic operation of the Mobile app (processing of personal data for the purposes of newsletters, marketing research or tracking their buying behavior), which does not result in them losing the benefits of the Mobile app.
However, if you withdraw your consent to the processing of the data necessary for the operation of the Mobile app, e.g. you delete your personal account you will not be able to use the Application or its benefits.
6. Security
Henkel ensures technical and organizational security measures, designed to protect the personal data processed by us from accidental or intentional abuse, loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. These security measures shall be adapted and improved according to the technical development.
Intellectual Property Rights
All data and images on the Mobile app are copyrighted or otherwise protected by intellectual property rights and under the Copyright and Related Rights Act and other applicable regulations.
Henkel shall not transfer any copyright or other intellectual property rights related to the Mobile app (inter alia the rights to using the brand, logo, trade name) to the user, but shall only grant them a non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use the Mobile app on their mobile device for personal (non-commercial) purposes, all in the manner and scope, and under the terms and conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.
Breaches
The Mobile app user undertakes not to use the app for illicit purposes or purposes breaching these terms and conditions. The Mobile app may not be used in a manner that could disable, overload or harm the operation of the Mobile app or Henkel. It is also forbidden to prevent other users from using the Mobile app. Users are also not allowed to access their data or data on other users without authorization. It is forbidden to obtain or try to obtain any materials or information by using means that are not available for such purpose as part of the Mobile app.
Duration of General Terms and Conditions and Amendments
These general terms and conditions of using the Mobile app come into force on the day they are published on the HENKEL’s website. These general terms and conditions apply to all users who download the Mobile app to their mobile devices or use it.
HENKEL reserves the right to change and amend these general terms and conditions, and inform the users about the changes on the website (www.Local LoyApp web page).
Any changes to these general terms and conditions shall come into force on the day amended general terms and conditions are published on » LOCTITE LOYALTY”’s website, unless otherwise specified in the amendments.
If the user disagrees with the changed or amended general terms and conditions, they must stop using the Mobile app and delete it's personal account. If the user continues using the Mobile app and does not delete its personal account, it shall be deemed that they agree to the changes and amendments to the general terms and conditions.
Any disputes arising from these general terms and conditions or from using the Mobile app shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction.
