LOCTITE® 2431 is a blue, liquid, thixotropic, dimethacrylate ester threadlocker which has medium strength. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces. Typical applications include pump or motor mounting bolts, engine rocker nuts or equipment housing screws.
- Prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration
- Particularly suitable for applications on less active substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces
