What you need

In vehicle repair it is crucial to reproduce the same quality and visual appearance provided by the original OEM seams to avoid corrosion. With the below instructions you can rebuild standard and brushed seams with TEROSON® MS 9320 SF.

All repair and maintenance tasks shown should be done by professionals only. Please do not try this at home if you are not qualified or professionally educated. Always follow car manufacturer's instructions.

STEP 1

Pretreat the surface

Bonding surfaces have to be cleaned from oil, grease, dust and any other contaminations. Clean the bonding surfaces with TEROSON® VR 10 using a lint-free cloth.

STEP 2

Prepare the cartridge

To open the cartridge, use the cartridge opener. The cartridge must be opened at the top and bottom!

STEP 3

Prepare the nozzle

Cut the TEROSON® standard nozzle to the required size with a cutter.

STEP 4

Prepare the dispenser

Screw off the front union nut of the pipe. Pull back the piston rod and insert the cartridge into the tube. Screw the union nut back onto the tube. Use a hand dispenser (TEROSON® Staku) or a battery dispenser (TEROSON® ET Battery dispenser).

STEP 4a

Application — Standard Seam

Put the cartridge into the dispenser (TEROSON® Staku/battery dispenser) and apply TEROSON® MS 9320 SF to the surface to rebuild the standard seam and spread it with a brush.

STEP 4b

Application — Brushed Seam

You can finish an existing fresh applied seam with a special hard brush.
