LOCTITE® AA 3943 is a transparent-to-hazy, medium-viscosity, UV acrylic light-cure adhesive offering superior sterilisation resistance. It is suitable for a wide variety of glass, plastic, and metal components that require fast cure, flexibility, high adhesion, and autoclave resistance. Specifically, it is ideal for bonding stainless steel cannulae into hubs, syringes, and lancets for needle assemblies. LOCTITE AA 3943 cures in seconds when exposed to light of the proper wavelength and intensity. It fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control. The product has been tested to Henkel's test protocols based on ISO 10993 bio-compatibility standards for use in the medical device industry.
