Protective coating for the elimination of oxidation and decarburisation during treatment in conventional heat treatment furnaces.
BONDERITE® L-GP 12 ACHESON (BERKATEKT 12) is a protective coating lubricant for the elimination of oxidation and decarburisation during treatment in conventional heat treatment furnaces, and is suitable for nimonics and titanium, with its alloys, at temperatures up to +2012°F (+1100°C). It is not suitable for reducing furnace atmospheres, and requires at least 10% oxygen to be effective.
