BONDERITE® M-MN 4902 (FOSTONE 4902 IT) is a liquid phosphate metal pre-treatment designed to produce a micro-crystalline conversion coating of manganese and iron phosphates on ferrous metal. Coating thickness varies depending on substrate and pre-treatment conditions. This coating is highly absorbent to oils and lubricants and can therefore be used as a protective agent against corrosion. Please note: BONDERITE M products are used in the surface modification of metals and usually applied in a multi-stage process. The performance of these surface treatments depends on various factors such as the preceding cleaning or etching steps (BONDERITE C portfolio), line design or process parameters.
