BONDERITE® C-IC 417 (INGOPUR 417) is a colorless, acidic, liquid industrial cleaner composed of phosphoric acid and surfactants. It is used as a deoxidizer and cleaning agent with startup protection in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry. It is used prior to the application of electro- or etch resistant or solder masks. It can also be used for brown oxidation.
- Excellent adhesion of photo layers or screen printing ink to metal surfaces
- Excellent de-oxidation and removal of inorganic residues
- Has very good start-up protection when applied above +104 °F (+40 °C), so that a metal surface treated with it does not show start-up even after a long time
- Very good cleaning, degreasing and removal of organic residues
- Acts as a bonding agent between photo layer or screen printing ink and metal
- Very good for cleaning prior to the application of any kind of solder mask (especially suitable for photo-sensitive masks)
- Designed for alkaline-soluble screen printing inks and photo resists and therefore cleans printed metal surfaces excellently, without any resistance or attack on the metal
