This room-temperature cure, 2-part, flexible, toughened, medium-viscosity, industrial-grade adhesive has a 40-minute work life to allow for adjustments.
LOCTITE® EA E-40FL is a toughened, medium-viscosity, industrial-grade adhesive with a medium work life. Once mixed, the 2-part epoxy cures at room temperature to form a flexible bond line with excellent resistance to shock and impact. When fully cured, it’s resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, and is an excellent electrical insulator. Ideal for bonding plastic, metal, glass, wood, ceramic, rubber and masonry materials where flexibility is required, and perfect for low-stress, high-impact bonding applications of dissimilar materials. Typical applications include repairing strain gauges, sealing seams on fibreglass components, repairing printed circuit boards, bonding stainless steel inserts, and bonding rubber hose to steel tubing.
