TEROSON® WT 123 is a light grey to beige, sprayable and trowelable anti-drumming (soundproofing), pasty compound based on an aqueous synthetic resin dispersion with flame-retardant additives. It is used for anti-drumming or absorption (dampening) of structure-borne noise in thin-walled sheet metal structures required in the manufacture of vehicles, rail wagons, ships, plants and machinery.
- Bonds to stainless steel, galvanized steel sheeting and anodized aluminum
- Possesses heat-insulating properties
- Sprayable and trowelable
- Environmentally friendly (contains no halides, heavy metals or asbestos)
- Dries without cracking
- Displays good sag resistance up to a thickness of at least 0.24 in (6 mm)
- Can be overpainted, if necessary, after drying
- Can be briefly exposed to standing water
- Has a Class S 4 flammability rating (flame-retardant) in accordance with DIN 5510 Part 2
