Made from graphite, calcium, boron nitride, and rust inhibitors, LOCTITE^® LB 8023 is a metal-free anti-seize lubricant paste for use on many types of metal components, including bolts, screws, studs, pipe joints, nuts, shafts, bushings, splines, chains, and cables. Designed to prevent galvanic corrosion and protect assembled parts when exposed to direct or indirect fresh or salt water, it has excellent lubricity, is resistant to water spray and water washout, and holds strength and quality even in high-humidity conditions. It doesn’t crumble from extreme heat either, as it can resist temperatures up to 2400°F (1315°C). These attributes make it ideal for use in marine environments, pulp and paper mills, water and wastewater treatment plants, and dressing for water pump gaskets and flanges. ABS approved.
