Regular cleaning of the hotmelt system can extend the longevity of the equipment and reduce the need for new replacement parts.
Proper and regular cleaning of machine parts such as guide rails, rollers and compression plates will minimize production downtime. Adhesive that has built up over a long period requires more time and effort to be removed – extending production interruptions.

TECHNOMELT^®cleaner range – High performance and occupational safety

Henkel has developed a range of specialty cleaners which perfectly match with hotmelt adhesives on all kinds of machinery and equipment. All cleaners are well balanced in terms of their cleaning performance and safety aspects. The cleaners have been tried and tested by packaging companies across a wide range of applications.

TECHNOMELT^® Cleaner Pure

Ideal for the regular cleaning of machine surfaces, steel rollers and other cold machine parts. Removes any contamination effectively and easily. Major safety advantage compared to the CLP classification for standard cleaners available on the market. Solvent-free.

Available packaging: 12 x 1 liter spray bottles, 4 x 5 liter canisters

TECHNOMELT^® Cleaner Pure contains no substances commonly found in regular cleaners and responsible for the qualifications:

TECHNOMELT^® Cleaner Melt-O-Clean

Cleaning of machine surfaces, application units and general machinery, specially to remove residual adhesive and heavy grease and grime.

Available packaging; 12 x 0,5 liter spray bottles, 4 x 4,5 liter canisters

TECHNOMELT^® Cleaner Q 1924

First choice for EVA & mPO adhesives. Especially effective prior to change-overs in adhesive technology (e.g. from EVA to mPO technology)

Appearance: Granules
Working temperature: 120 – 180 °C
Available packaging: 25 kg PE bags
CLP: Not hazardous according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP)

TECHNOMELT^® Cleaner 102

For pressure-sensitive/rubber-based hotmelt adhesives. Best used at temperatures of 140 – 160 °C and recycled through the system to dissolve all the hotmelt residue.
