BONDERITE® M-ZN 1994 R5 is a nitrite-free, tricationic phosphating dip process for steel, galvanised alloyed-coated (Zn/Ni) steel and aluminium (after bath-modification). It generates a fine crystalline coating of manganese containing zinc phosphate which has very good corrosion protection properties and is an excellent foundation for subsequent painting or organic coating. Please note: BONDERITE M products are used in the surface modification of metals and usually applied in a multi-stage process. The performance of these surface treatments depends on various factors such as the preceding cleaning or etching steps (BONDERITE C portfolio), line design or process parameters.
- Generates a fine crystalline coating of manganese containing zinc phosphate which has very good corrosion protection properties
- The tendency of incrustation is very low
- For easier processing, no separate dosing of an accelerator is necessary
- Creates an excellent foundation for subsequent painting or organic coating
