Concrete remains one of the most widely used building materials around the world thanks to its longevity, flexibility in application, and ease of use. However, as with any material exposed to the elements, it must also be maintained and repaired to ensure it achieves maximum longevity in a broad range of environmental conditions. Additionally, in areas of high traffic or where heavy machinery is used, concrete repairs may be crucial to the continued operation of your facility.

Henkel’s concrete repair products allow both contractors and facility managers to prevent corrosion, structural damage, and water infiltration, while also reinforcing structures and preventing deterioration of buildings due to other environmental conditions. The LOCTITE® line of concrete repair products also includes heavy duty concrete floor repair epoxy material for many industrial applications. Our concrete repair and sealer materials also deliver ease-of-use and versatile application to ensure they are suited to any concrete structure or detail. This combination of properties makes our industrial concrete repair products among the most trusted options in any industry, application, or environment.

  • Our concrete repair materials include features such as:
  • Minimal shrinkage when applied at virtually any temperature
  • Freeze/thaw resistance including resistance to de-icing salts and chemicals
  • Wide temperature range, typically -58°F to 2012°F (-50°C to 1100°C)
  • Fast concrete bonding as well as easy bonding to other materials

Used widely within the construction industry, as well as for heavy-duty applications within in factories, warehouses, and similar locations, industrial concrete patch compounds, concrete expansion joint fillers, and floor repair materials must be able to withstand challenging environmental conditions, as well as heavy-duty impact where machines and transport are regularly used. Overcoming these challenges, Henkel’s epoxy concrete repair products deliver superior performance and easy application to make repair and maintenance quick and reliable.

The LOCTITE® Industrial Concrete Repair Material Product Line

To be effective across a broad range of applications, LOCTITE® industrial concrete repair products require versatile properties that deliver high strength and high-pressure resistance when filling cracks and patching larger areas. Industrial concrete crack fillers, whether used within large areas on walls, floors, or other structural elements, provide minimal shrinkage as well as fast cure times and easy to apply formulas. Additionally, LOCTITE® industrial concrete crack repair compounds can be used for patching and crack filling on both vertical and horizontal applications.

Read more below about how Henkel’s industrial concrete repair products deliver maximum efficacy in a variety of applications.

Epoxy-Based

Many of our industrial concrete repair products are epoxy based to ensure high compression strength, stress resistance, and durability. These 2-part epoxy concrete repair compounds allow the repair and maintenance of concrete and mixed-material floors, walls, and other structures.

Epoxy-based concrete repair can be applied at almost any temperature without the risk of shrinkage, with operating temperatures of between -60F to +2000F (-50°C to 1100°C) which ensures long lasting repairs in a broad range of environmental conditions.

High-Strength

Henkel’s heavy-duty concrete floor repair and patching compounds are extremely strong once set, outperforming conventional concrete repair materials and delivering increased strength to floors, walls, and other structures. Particularly in areas with heavy traffic or machinery that has the potential to damage floors and walls, high-strength concrete repair is crucial to improving performance, appearance, and safety

High-strength concrete patch materials can be applied to new, old, or damaged concrete substrates, as well as other materials such as wood, glass, and steel.

Acid/Chemical Resistant

Chemical resistant concrete coatings are important to ensure any repairs can withstand exposure to the harshest industrial environments. LOCTITE® chemical resistant concrete coatings are stronger than concrete and can bond to almost any substrate as well as being trowelable and easy to apply.

Low VOC

Low-VOC concrete sealers help maintain health and safety standards for staff, customers, and clients while also improving working conditions and reducing wider environmental impacts. Today, low-VOC products are highly important in all industries, allowing repairs to be made that meet regulatory standards and minimize the use of harmful chemicals.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have been shown to have adverse health effects, particularly when used inside. For this reason, low-VOC concrete sealers are highly useful in any area where staff regularly work or pass through. Additionally, they also have the potential to accumulate fine particulates that can reduce visibility if left unchecked.
