TEROSON® RB 2750 is a black, flexible, versatile butyl rubber adhesive and sealing tape. It consists of a self-adhesive plasto-elastic butyl rubber material with high adhesive strength. Dimensionally stable in its lengthwise direction, it can be elongated crosswise up to 10%. It is used for sealing sheet metal covers as well as ventilation ducts in interior and exterior applications.
- Can be used for sealing of connections and overlap joints of switchboards and the production of metal-based sandwich elements for sound absorption
- Compatible with bitumen-containing substrates
- Can be applied to smooth substrates such as aluminum, sheet zinc, polyester, glass, roofing foils based on ECB, EPDM, PIB, CR, acrylic glass (Plexiglass®), polycarbonate (Makrolon®) and other substrates
- Can be painted with commercial latex paints used in the building industry which also adhere to plaster
