BONDERITE® C-IC 4955 (DEOXIDIZER 4955) is an acidic, aluminum etching metal pre-treatment liquid which is used as a dip or spray for deoxidizing/desmutting aluminum, especially after alkaline etching. It removes smut, brightens the aluminum and improves the overall appearance prior to further treatment. It is especially recommended prior to chrome free conversion coatings for aluminum.
