TECHNOMELT® PUR 9016 is a translucent, 100% solids, moisture-curing polyurethane hotmelt adhesive designed for very fast set and almost instant bonding in lamination, general assembly work, assembly bonding of wooden parts and gluing of textiles and plastics. It is more rigid both in the uncured state and after curing than other curing hotmelts.
- Chemical cross-linking within few days
- High initial strength
- Very high heat resistance > +302 °F (> +150 °C) and cold flexibility
- Bond joint turns into a thermoset
- Excellent water resistance
- Resistant to most solvents
- Contains UV dye for improved visibility under a UV light source
- Much better deflection-resistance and higher performance in load-bearing applications
