LOCTITE® SI 5912 FL is a black, thixotropic, oxime silicone sealant paste that is mainly used for sealing the pleats of automotive oil filters. The product offers excellent resistance to engine oils and can withstand high joint movement. Cure is achieved through room temperature vulcanizing. Further uses include timing covers and oil sumps.
