Contact adhesive

Adhesive which is applied to both surfaces and must then be allowed to become tacky (or dry) until the solvents have vaporized (-> Open time).
When the two surfaces are then brought together under high pressure, i.e. contact is made, high bond strength is reached immediately

Curing

The transition of liquid adhesive into a set or hardened state in a chemical or physical process.

Cyanoacrylates

Cyanoacrylates are reactive adhesives which take only seconds to harden on nearly all surfaces, as a result of atmospheric humidity.  Cyanoacrylates are reactive adhesives which take only seconds to harden on nearly all surfaces, as a result of atmospheric humidity.
