Erwin Duinker

Technical Customer Service

Erwin Duinker has a background in chemistry and launched his career in Aerospace with Turco Products in 1999. His experience at Henkel includes product development across surface treatments, paint strippers and cleaners as well as technical support for structural adhesives.

Erwin is a certified European Adhesive Engineer by Frauenhofer IFAM since 2007. He provides technical support for the key account Airbus Group at Henkel since 2013.

Dr. Ulrike Schmidt-Freytag

Technical Service Manager EMEA

Ulrike joined Henkel in 2002 as Manager Central R&D in Düsseldorf. She began by being responsible for the development of new composite and primer formulations for aerospace applications. After four years Ulrike changed her area of expertise to product development where she gained detailed knowledge on metal pretreatment and coating for total automotive coating.
Since 2010 Ulrike is leading the Technical Service Team for Aerospace in EMEA where she is responsible for the entire aerospace product line.

Ulrike received her PhD in Chemistry at the RWTH University of Aachen, Germany in 2002.

Ray Cornwell

Technical Service Manager Aerospace

Ray Cornwell joined Henkel in 2004 and currently is the Technical Service Manager at Bay Point, USA,  facility and has serviced the Aerospace Industry for 35 plus years. In his role as one of Henkel’s IACET authorized Certified Instructors, Ray conducts the training for our Adhesive and Frekote product lines to our authorized distributors and customers.

Steve Larby

Director, Special Projects

Steve Larby has worked in the composites industry for over 35 years both in Europe and the United Sates.
Specializing in materials manufacturing technology he has considerable experience with hot melt and solution coated thermoset resins and adhesives. He has held numerous positions within technical service, QA, sales, marketing and plant management for a number of material suppliers within the aerospace industry.

He joined Henkel just over 3 years ago and is currently Director, Special Projects within the marketing group of Henkel Aerospace.
A native of the UK, Steve was educated in polymer processing in Manchester and currently resides in Southern California.
